Your Pro subscription provides you with unlimited map downloads. Here are instructions on how to download maps for each of our apps.


OutDoors GB / OutDoors GPS

Your subscription provides you with unlimited access to OS Maps. To download a map for offline use:

  1. Go to Store > Maps
  2. Tap the green download icon to the right of any maps you wish to download
  3. You'll know the download is complete when the icon turns into a green checkmark
  4. You can do to the My Maps tab to see a list of all downloaded maps available for offline use
  5. To access a map, go to the Map tab and tap the map layer icon in the top left
  6. Select My Maps and then pinch & zoom to access any area covered by your downloaded maps


NOTE: You'll also see OS Unlimited listed which provides a seamless OS Map layer for the entire country but keep in mind this map layer is only available when you have an active Internet connection.



OutDoors France

Your subscription provides you with unlimited access to IGN Maps. To download a map for offline use:

  1. Go to the Store tab
  2. Tap the plus (+) in the top left of the screen
  3. Pinch & zoom to select the map area and choose the zoom level you wish to download
  4. Enter a name that will allow you to easily remember what map area it covers
  5. Tap Download which will allow you to confirm the exact size before starting
  6. To access a map, go to the Map tab and tap the map layer icon in the top left
  7. Select My Maps and then pinch & zoom to access any area covered by your downloaded maps
